Divi Toolbox got a new update!
What’s new in version 1.5?
After the long-awaited arrival of Divi 4.0 and the Theme Builder, we updated the Divi Toolbox to make it compatible with the new Divi and to give you even more awesome features! The settings which used to be confined to default navigation can be now applied to the Fullwidth Menu and Menu modules. Also, you can now use Toolbox features to customize the Blog module and the Sidebar module to enjoy a custom blog layout anywhere on your website! Previously, you could only customize blog archive pages, but the new Theme Builder makes it possible to create your own archives – and we made the most of this change in this Divi Toolbox 1.5 update. Let’s look at the new features in more detail.
Divi Header Menu and Navigation
The features that were previously available only to modify default Navigation now can be applied to the Fullwidth Menu and Menu modules. Just add to them the CSS class dtb-menu to get the following additional features: CTA Menu Button, Overlapping Logo Effect, Customizable Hover Styles, Custom Dropdown Menu, and Custom Mobile Menu. With these customizable options, you can create beautiful headers in the new Theme Builder. We’ve also expanded Hover Menu Styles to include new customization options such as width and offset of the underline to give you unlimited possibilities to create exciting hover effect variations.
New option to add a Fixed Navigation to Divi 4 header
To use this feature, enable the new “Custom Fixed Header” option in Toolbox settings, add a CSS class of dtb-fixed-header to any section or module, and choose the number of pixel user needs to scroll, after which the navigation will slide down and appear stuck at the top of your Divi 4 header.
Divi Blog
Previously, Divi Toolbox enabled you to customize index pages such as archives and categories, which couldn’t be edited with Divi Builder. Now, we extended this functionality to the Blog module. Just add the CSS class dtb-blog and enjoy new blog list customizations!
You can also customize the Sidebar module using Toolbox, just add the CSS class dtb-sidebar. That’s not all! We added three new blog layouts, so now there are 9 custom layouts you can choose from.
We’ve also added an option to equalize the Content Box and Featured image heights, which gives you an option to enjoy pixel-perfect blog grids.
The Featured Image can now be made using gradients with custom blend modes! Check the new Blog List options in the Toolbox Customizer.
Reorganizing the Toolbox
After the Theme Builder was introduced, some of Divi Toolbox’s settings became no longer needed. For example, you can now design custom 404 layouts in the Theme Builder, and injected “After Header” layouts, too. That’s why we removed these features from the Toolbox’s main menu – but don’t worry about your websites made using these features! They are still there, but we moved them to the “Deprecated” tab, which you can find in the footer of the Toolbox settings dashboard.
We also changed some terms used on the plugin settings page and in the Toolbox customizer to make everything clearer and more intuitive to use.
Other features you might have missed
We introduced an awesome typing effect in one of the previous updates, and now we also updated our documentation page to make it easier for you to use this effect. The parallax modules scrolling feature has new speed options, which make it possible to create subtler effects. You can find more info about that in the documentation.
We hope you’ll find Divi Toolbox 1.5 helpful and empowering in expressing your creative ideas! If you have any questions, get in touch with our support, we are happy to help. We can’t wait for you to try out the new Toolbox and tell us what you think in the comments.

Hi
Great thank you
I was wondering if Divi 4 was replacing Divi Toolbox but it looks like Divi toolbox is still very useful
Are there some features that Divi 4 now does instead of Divi toolbox ? (just to know)
Thank you
As mentioned in the post: you can now design custom 404 layouts in the Theme Builder, and injected “After Header” layouts, too, so this has been moved to the “deprecated” section on the plugin settings page.
I love Divi Toolbox!
2 features you could consider adding to Divi Toolbox are:
1. The ability to change the number of columns for desktop navigation menu and customise the column width and order of the menu items.
2. Enable full-width bottom bar.
Hi, thank you Kirby!
I’m not sure what do you mean by columns for desktop navigation – I think you should be able to achieve this using the new Theme Builder(?)
This is incredible!!!! So excited. I was just struggling with the CTA menu issue this past weekend. You are amazing!
Hi Ania,
As always you really impress… I love this latest update!
I’m so happy I made the choice to buy your plugin as its a huge time saver and helps me build better looking websites.
You’re the absolute best!
Thanks
